The Adventures of Leonardo da Vinci

This adventure began April 15, 1452 in a town called Vinci, Italy.  A boy with the name Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci was born. His father, Messer Piero Fruosino di Antonio da Vinci, was a Florentine notary and landlord while his mother, Caterina, was a young peasant woman.  Leonardo was taught how to read, write and arithmetic from his father.  In 1467 he became an apprentice pf the artist Verrocchio. For six years he learned a lot about metalworking, leather arts, carpentry, drawing and sculpting.

Leonardo mainly worked with sculpting and painting.  His most famous artwork we know today is “The Last Supper,” “Mona Lisa,” and the “Renaissance Man”

1 thing most people might not know about this artist is that in his later years many people believed that he was abducted by aliens.  He had gone into an ancient cave, records showed nothing of his existence for 2 years.  When he “returned” he was paranoid people we’re watching and reading everything he wrote so Leonardo would write backwards.  He had become very interested in the human body and would sketch every organ and muscle.
